Guest lecture: Building evidence on the differential effects of fiscal interventions to improve diet in the UK

Anja Mizdrak is a PhD fellow at the British Heart Foundation Centre on Population Approaches to Non-Communicable Disease Prevention, University of Oxford.
Mizdrak's research project uses experimental and modelling methods to estimate the possible effects of fiscal interventions to improve diet on different income groups in the UK.

She will give a presentation of her work: Building evidence on the differential effects of fiscal interventions to improve diet in the UK

Anja will present the findings of a systematic review that examined experimental evidence for the differential effects of fiscal interventions to improve population diets. She will then cover plans for her own experimental work using a UK-specific Virtual Supermarket
Anja will discuss some of the key strengths and limitations of the experimental approach, and how these might be used in combination with modelling methods to better the evidence base for fiscal interventions to improve population diet.
