The IEM group conducts research on organizational management in a range of organizational contexts, types and forms.
We mainly focus on management issues within organizations that operate in the context of agriculture and food, health, environment and natural resources. Our research covers organizations in both developed and developing countries.
IEM members seek to explore the nature of organizational management and how it evolves within organizations, what the underlying mechanisms are and how they can be improved.
More specifically we focus on innovation, R&D and IP management; management of group decision making, strategizing, conflicts and complex problem solving processes; strategic management and planning processes at enterprise level; project management; and value chain coordination and management.
