I investigate reasons and boundaries behind managers choices, analysing knowledge creation and management, culture, and the use of resources in the decision-making processes.
Currently, I am working on the D4AgEcol project. Its overall objective is to provide knowledge for the transition to agroecological farming, by identifying appropriate digital tools and technologies, and suggesting measures to adapt and exploit their potentials to the transition to sustainable food and agricultural systems. My tasks include knowledge co-creation, including all stakeholders in designing the future European policies to support a sustainable production of food.
Business cultures and the nexus between people and their creations is my main interest. Food is the case of my projects, behavioural models the main framework. Reflecting on socio-economic topics fits my background in sustainable development. During my PHD, I highlighted the uniqueness of consumer-oriented and niche foods, the most valuable and innovative food products.
I have a passion for the “big picture”, analysing the structure of a system, and I approach every task with this mindset.
My experiences contribute in shaping my persona, my familiarity with different work environments and scientific languages. My background includes Agricultural Economics and Development studies, applying mostly qualitative methods in my fieldwork.
