Ph.d.-studerende

My main research area is climate change adaptation governance with a gendered perspective. More specifically I am examining how a transnational adaptation intervention – the Participatory Rangeland Management (PRM) approach – affects pastoral women’s access to land and natural resources in Kenya.

With an outset in feminist political ecology and governance theory, my PhD examines the multi-layered governance structures in and the political effects of transnational interventions, and the gendered impacts of climate change and intervention practices.

With strong collaborations in Kenya, my research is based on extensive field work and qualitative data.
