How to reach IFRO
IFRO is located in the city of Frederiksberg which is located within Copenhagen; the capital of Denmark.
Copenhagen Airport is served by more than 60 carriers, operating services to and from 111 cities World-Wide.
Copenhagen offers the fastest and cheapest airport-to-city-centre rail link in any European capital - just 20 minutes - and it costs only DKK 36 (remember to purchase the ticket before getting on the train).
The metro also takes you directly to the city centre or to Forum station which is a five minutes walk from IFRO.
We have gathered an overview of ways in which you can reach IFRO:
There is a bus service from Copenhagen Central Station, Bus no. 2A, which is available every 5-7 minutes.
The 2A stops right outside IFRO on Rolighedsvej. The bus ride takes about ten minutes.
The metro station Forum is a five minutes walk from IFRO. You can take the metro directly from Copenhagen Airport or from the city centre (Kongens Nytorv or Nørreport).
DSB - the Danish State Railway - connects Copenhagen with all the capitals in Continental Europe. It also links Copenhagen with the British Isles via Holland. All International trains arrive in and depart from Copenhagen Central Station in the centre of Copenhagen.
Direct ferries connect Copenhagen with Oslo, Norway. By car or train you can also reach other Danish towns with ferry connections: Helsingør (Elsinore) (47 km to the north) for Helsingborg, Sweden; Rødby (150 km to the south) and Gedser (145 km to the south) for Puttgarden and Rostock, Germany; and Frederikshavn or Hirtshals (approx. 460 km to the north-west) for Gothenburg, Sweden and Oslo, Larvik and Kristiansand, Norway.
Denmark's highway system links Copenhagen with the rest of Europe and other neighbouring countries via E 47, E 20 (with connection to E 45) and E 55. The Danish Road Directorate operates a Traffic Information service on tel.: +45 33 15 64 44.
There is limited parking available at Rolighedsvej 23 and 25. You will need a temporary parking license, which you can get in the reception at either Rolighedsvej 23 or 25.
