Jens Christiansen is a transdisciplinary social scientist and PhD Student at Lancaster Environment Centre (LEC). More specifically, his postgraduate studies and academic interests have mainly been focused on the political economy of natural resources and development as well as economic history. Jens’ current PhD research is supervised by Christina Hicks and Patrick Bigger at LEC who provide expertise on fisheries governance, biodiversity conservation and environmental finance.
