Aggregating Linguistic Assessments in Multi-Criteria Decision-Making
Open seminar with José Luis García Lapresta, Departamento de Economía Aplicada, Universidad de Valladolid.
About the seminar:
A significant part of the decision problems within economics target multiple objectives. Therefore, these can be defined as multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) problems.
Professor José Luis García Lapresta’s research proposes a MCDM procedure that allows agents to evaluate a set of alternatives objectives by means of the linguistic terms of an ordered qualitative scale non-necessarily uniform. Here a group of experts assess alternatives regarding multiple objective for obtaining the best alternative(s) or a ranking of them.
