Seminar featuring the Danish Economic Councils: Meat Consumption and Greenhouse Gas Taxes
Open online seminar with Ilya Manuylov and Janne Nyborg Vinge, The Secretariat of the Danish Economic Councils.
The Danish Environmental Economic Council have recently released its yearly report which contain two main chapters on: a. Meat Demand and Climate Taxes; and b. Adapting to Climate Change Induced Flood Risk. At an online seminar Lars Gårn Hansen presented the main policy conclusions in these two chapters. However, these policy conclusions is based on applied research conducted by the employees at The Secretariat of the Danish Economic Councils.
Therefore, we have organized two online seminars with the employees from the secretariat. Specifically, at Wednesday 24. January between 12.00 and 13.00, Ilya Manuylov and Janne Nyborg Vinge will give an online seminar on the work behind the chapter about meat demand and climate taxes. The title of the online seminar is: “Meat Consumption and Greenhouse Gas Taxes”.
Furthermore, at Wednesday 31. January between 12.00 and 13.00, Niels Vestergaard and Freja Hein Svendsen will give an online seminar on the work behind the chapter about adapting to climate change induced flood risk. The title of the online seminar is: “Climate Adaptation in Coastal Zones”.
