Conference on "Winning the fight against food loss and waste"

Join the conference on June 10th to help win the fight against food loss and waste! Don't forget to sign up for the event.

The global challenge of food loss and waste requires innovative solutions and collaborative efforts across the entire food value chain and globe.

That’s why DFC, DVFA and UCPH IFRO have invited international partners from DVFA’s Strategic Sector Cooperation projects around the world to join a DFC learning program on Food Loss and Waste, and to meet with you; fellow experts and colleagues in Denmark and from abroad to discuss, share and find ways to Win the Fight Against Food Loss and Waste. Through presentations and debate, this conference will highlight both Danish and international initiatives and provide a platform to explore practical approaches from across the globe to minimizing food loss and waste while optimizing resource use. The preliminary program can be found below.

The conference is a part of this year’s DFC-course in Sustainable Food Systems: Resource Efficiency, Food Loss and Food Waste (26th May-16th June) hosted by the Department of Food and Resource Economics (IFRO). We hope to bring you and our DFC-fellows together to share experiences, explore possibilities, and collaboratively address one of the most pressing challenges of our time!
