PhD start-up seminar: Climate change adaptation governance

Charlotte Maybom will present the PhD project titled Climate change adaptation governance: Governance practices in international non-state actors’ implementation of climate change adaptation initiatives related to agro-pastoralists’ access to land for adaptation in rural Kenya at this PhD start-up seminar.

What is a PhD start-up seminar?

Some PhD students invite colleagues to an open seminar where they present their PhD project in hopes of getting feedback, inputs and new ideas.
The seminars are open to all, and students are very welcome to join, whether it is to learn more about what a PhD project is or if they simply find the topic interesting.

Practicalities

The seminar is open to all, and you are welcome to bring your lunch.
You do not need to sign up.
There is limited seating.

It can be difficult or impossible to access the meeting room in a wheel chair or if you have impaired walking as you have to climb a few stairs to access the building but we have a ramp that we can place on the stairs to ease access.
Feel free to contact us prior to the event, and we are happy to be of assistance to ensure you can access the room safely.
