I am Professor of Innovation and Entrepreneurship. I have a PhD in Economic Geography (2012, University of Copenhagen) and an MSc in Regional and Urban Planning Studies (2008, LSE).
My research is positioned within the fields of innovation studies, sustainability transitions and economic geography. Research topics include:
- Spatial aspects of innovation processes for sustainability transitions
- Transformative innovation policy
- Green urban and regional development
- Foundational economy
- Technology transfer between developed and emerging economies
Empirical focus: bioeconomy, energy-intensive industries, maritime transport, plastics, energy.
