My research in IFRO focuses on the structure of trans-national food supply chains. The PhD scholarship is part of the Food and Health education and research programme within the Sino.-Danish Center (SDC). The project investigates the effects of information asymmetry and other barriers on the central stages of the supply chain between Denmark and China, and between China and the EU (trade, food services), comparing the different business environments and collaboration models.
My background includes the recent MSc in Agricultural Development (with focus on Agricultural Economics), with a thesis on knowledge transfer along an agri-food global value chain, and a degree in Environmental Sciences.
