My research interests are in the areas of international trade, agricultural trade policy, agricultural and food policy, conomic development, and computable general equilibrium models.
Some of my research papers have been published in academic journals such as the American Journal of Agricultural Economics, Journal of Agricultural Economics, Asian Economic Journal, China Economic Review, Economic Modeling, European Review of Agricultural Economics, Food Security, the World Economy, and World Trade Review.
As part of my research work, I have several interactions with people and companies in the Danish animal food sectors, as well as with several public authorities. My current position is partially financed by a grant from the Norma og Frode Jacobsens Fond to the Department of Food and Resource Economics at the University of Copenhagen. Connected to the position and some of my research is an advisory committee including private sector representatives. The committee’s terms are specified in the Terms of Reference specified by the Department of Food and Resource Economics at the University of Copenhagen.
In all these relations I act in my function as a full time permanent employee of the University of Copenhagen and I do not receive any remuneration from any of these external contacts.
